As for the condition of the stamps: 1 ct no gum 4, 10 cents MNH original gum 1 Dollar: gum, slight hinge mark.

Clean, fresh, fine condition.

China Letter 1973 to former Premier Zhou Enlai 1973

Cultural Revolution, 1973: Envelope with 8 Fen stamp, addressed to the former Prime Minister Zhou Enlai.




At the reverse is a red strike – for mail to the Political Bureau of the Communist Party.

Two censored covers sent Wien to the USA, a registered one to Los Angeles and on to Newark, which has been returned.



Both have been opened by censors and have been resealed with a brown tape.
